Facts
:-
The appellant Shri Gauranga Patra, vide his RTI application of 10/12/2009 sought
information from the CPIO, D/o Posts, New Delhi, in respect of action taken on 06
representations made by him, to the department.
2. The CPIO, vide her order of 12/01/2010, informed him that action is pending on 05
representations and informed him that his representation dated 08/10/2009 had been
considered by the competent authority and the same was not accepted due to administrative
reasons.
3. Not being satisfied, the appellant filed appeal before FAA dated 08/02/2010 to which
he did not receive any response.
4. Being aggrieved and not be satisfied, he preferred second appeal before the
Commission.
5. The matter was heard today. Respondent appeared. Appellant is not present and has
sent a written communication to the Commission that he has since received the information
sought and is withdrawing his second appeal.
6. Respondent stated that in response to his second appeal, the matter had been
adjudicated upon vide FAAO of 11/03/2010 but it appeared that the same had not been
received by the appellant who has since been provided with a copy.
DECISION
7. After hearing the averments of the respondents and taking on record the written
submission of the appellant, no further action is required and the matter is closed at the
Commission’s end.
