                     JUDGMENT

The petitioner was a B.Com final year

student. The college in which she studied is affiliated

to the University of Calicut. She has completed the

course. She had passed all examinations except in one

paper viz., Cost and Management Accounting, held in

March-April, 2009. Apparently, dissatisfied with the

marks obtained by her, she had applied for

revaluation. She is aggrieved that the result of the

revaluation has not been published so far.

2. I heard learned standing counsel for the

University also. There is no justification for the delay in

the publication of results of revaluation in respect of

the Examination held in April, 2009 .

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of

directing the 1st respondent to publish the result of the

W.P.(C)No.19255 of 2009

revaluation sought for by the petitioner in relation to

the paper viz., Cost and Management Accounting, held

in March-April, 2009, as early as possible, at any rate,

within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt

of a copy of this judgment, provided the application

for revaluation is in order and otherwise correct.
