ORDER
Background
1. The RTI Application dated 10.10.2010 was filed by the Applicant with the PIO, Chief Personnel
Officer/Admn., Eastern Railway, Kolkata. He sought information against six points with reference to
second para in letter dated 23.6.2010 written by the Chief Personnel Officer (Admn) including
clarifications on certain words and terms used in the para. The PIO replied on 28.10.2010 stating
that available information on the same matter has already been furnished to the Applicant on
23.6.2010 and that the appeal has too has also been disposed of on 12.7.2010 and that the
Applicant was informed about this vide letter dated 11.10.2010. He also stated that a number of
documents sought by the Applicant vide his letter dated 5.9.2010 had also supplied to him on
13.10.2010. Being aggrieved with this reply the Applicant filed complaint before the Commission
seeking the information once again.
Decision
2. During the hearing the Respondent reiterated that information on the same subject has been
furnished to the Appellant in response to 11 similar RTI Applications and that complete information as
sought in this instant application has already been furnished. The Respondent further submitted that
the information was sent once again to the Appellant on 17.6.2011 on receipt of the hearing notice
from the Commission .
3. The Commission having noted that information has been furnished several times to the Appellant on
the same subject, informs the Appellant that no further information on this subject will be entertained
by the Commission in future.
