Information sought:
The Complainant had sought updated statement of his p/f account, rules and regulation of rate of interest
on PF amount and whether any company could be taken over the other Company due to pending of PF
amount.

Non-receipt of information from the PIO even after the expiry of stipulated time.

The PIO & RPFC vide his letter dated 01/07/2010 informed the Commission that the Application of the
Complainant was received in the office on 18/11/2008. The Complainant had not mentioned the PF
account no. in his application however he had attached an PF account statement of Bradma of India Ltd.
with the same. The same was then transferred to RPFC/CPIO, SRO, Nashik vide letter dated 03/12/2008
who in turn intimated the establishment did not come under his jurisdiction. The Complainant was
intimated vide letter dated 23/12/2008 to contact the SRO, Nasik along with his PF No. so that the
jurisdiction of the PF account could be verified. The Complainant did not contact the SRO, Nasik and did
not furnished the required particulars in the matter.

Complainant: Mr. M. S. Oak on video conference from NIC-Nasik Studio;
Respondent: Absent;
The Complainant states that he has not received any information to the four queries which he had
sought. The Complainant has been asked to provide his PF account number but states that he does not
have a PF Account number. The PIO is directed to provide information on queries 02 & 03 to the
complainant as per available records. If any of the information sought by the Complainant is not existing
on the records this should be clearly stated.
Decision:
The Complaint is allowed.
The PIO is directed to give the information on queries 02& 03 to the Complainant
before 20 January 2011.
This decision is announced in open chamber.
Notice of this decision be given free of cost to the parties.
Any information in compliance with this Order will be provided free of cost as per Section 7(6) of RTI Act.
