Facts

arising from the Complaint:

Mr. N. Subramaniam had filed a RTI application with the PIO, Ministry of Health
and Family Welfare, New Delhi on 08/01/2011 asking for certain information. However
on not having received any information within the mandated time, the Complainant filed
a complaint under Section 18 of the RTI Act with the Commission. On this basis, the
Commission issued a notice to the PIO, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New
Delhi on 11/07/2011 with a direction to provide the information to the Complainant and
further sought an explanation for not furnishing the information within the mandated
time.

The Commission has received a letter dated 11/08/2011 from the Respondent
wherein it has been stated that the RTI Application was received in their office on
09/02/2011 vide letter dated 28/01/2011 of the O/o the Additional Dy. Director General,
New Delhi for necessary action. Further, stating that information collected from various
wellness centres has been provided to the Complainant vide letter(s) dated 02/03/2011
and 03/08/2011. Copies of all the said communications were enclosed.

Decision:

The Complaint is disposed off.

Notice of this decision be given free of cost to the parties.
