Background
1. The Appellant filed his RTI application dt.1.5.08 with the CPIO, NWR, Jaipur.
He requested for information against 4 points related to allotment of railway’s
earning contracts. The APIO, Jaipur on 7.5.08 transferred the RTI request
to PIO Jaipur. The PIO Jaipur Division replied on 5.6.08 annexing the reply
from the Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager dated 2.2.5.08 giving point-wise
information. Not satisfied with the reply, the Applicant filed an appeal
dt.10.6.08 with the Appellate Authority. The Appellate Authority replied on
7.7.08 giving further clarification and information. On 7.8.08, the Appellate
Authority HQ, Jaipur forwarded a detailed reply given by the Chief
Commercial Manager, Jaipur (HQ). Aggrieved with the reply, the Applicant
filed a second appeal dt.15.9.08 before CIC.
2. The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner, scheduled the
hearing for May 29, 2009.
3. Mr. M.K. Sharma, APIO, Mr. Vijay Singh, PIO, Mr. V.K. Shukla, Sr. DCM,
Jaipur and Mr. A.K. Bhargar, PO(RCT) represented the Public Authority.
4. The Appellant was not present during the hearing.
Decision
5. The Commission noted that all available information has been furnished to the
Appellant and accordingly, disposes off the appeal.
