Background
1. The Applicant filed his RTI application dt.12.5.08. He requested for
information against 2 points regarding allotment of milk stall to Mr. Mohan Lal
on the Railway platform. The CPIO replied on 2.6.08 providing some
information. Not satisfied with the reply, the Applicant filed an appeal
dt.3.6.08 with the Appellate Authority. The Appellate Authority replied on
20.8.08 providing further information. Aggrieved with the reply, the Applicant
filed a second appeal dt.1.10.08 before the CIC.
2. The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner, scheduled the
hearing on June 5, 2009.
3. Mr. M.K. Sharma, APIO and Mr. A.K. Bhargava PO (RCT) represented the
Public Authority.
4. The Applicant was heard through Audio conferencing .
Decision
5. The Respondent stated that there is no order/decision for allotment of a milk
stall to Mr. Mohan Lal, as sought by the Appellant. As regards Railway
Board’s order/policy for delegation of GM’s powers to CCM, the Respondent
also stated that no such orders have been issued. After hearing the
submission from both sides and after reviewing the information provided, the
Commission noted that all available information has been provided to the
Appellant and accordingly, disposes of the appeal.
