Background
1. The Applicant filed an RTI application dt.12.6.08 with the CPIO, NWR, Jaipur.
He requested for information against 3 points related to working hours of
clerical staff. The CPIO replied on 8.7.08 inviting the Applicant for inspection
of files by him on 15.7.08. The Applicant inspected the files and certified
copies of documents were provided to him . The Applicant then wrote on
17.7.08 stating that the copies provided were irrelevant. The CPIO replied on
21.7.08 furnishing point wise information to the points in the RTI request Not
satisfied with the reply, the Applicant filed an appeal dt.28.7.08 with the
Appellate Authority reiterating his request for the information. The Appellate
Authority replied on 28.8.08 providing further information. Aggrieved with
the reply, the Applicant filed a second appeal dt.26.9.08 before CIC.
2. The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner, scheduled the
hearing for June 8, 2009.
3. Mr. S.L. Rathore , ADFM cum CPIO and Mr. L.R. Meena, Sr. DPO represented
the Public Authority.
4. The Applicant was heard through Audio conferencing.
Decision
5. The Appellant submitted that he has not received information against point
No.2. The Respondent on the other hand stated that the information against
point 2 has already been provided. However, after hearing the submissions
from both sides, the Commission directs the CPIO to once again provide the
information against point 2 to the Appellant by 10th July, 2009.
6. The appeal is disposed of.
