O R D E R
The Commission has received a complaint dated 7.5.2010 against the
PIO/AA, Ministry of Social Justice, against nonfurnishing of information to
his RTI request dated 11.3.2010 and first appeal dated 4.4.2011 respectively.
2. Perused the papers submitted by the complainant. It is observed that
complainant’s RTI request failed to elicit information either from the CPIO or
the Appellate Authority.
3. The CPIO is, therefore, directed to furnish the reply to the complainant
to his RTI application dated 11.3.2010 within two weeks of receipt of this
order.
4. If the complainant is not satisfied with the reply received from PIO, he
may within the time prescribed, file his first appeal before the appellate
authority u/s 19(1) of the RTI Act, who shall dispose of the appeal within the
period stipulated in the RTI Act.
5. The complaint is disposed of with above directions.
