FACTS:
Heard today dated 2.6.2011. Appellant not present. The Survey of India
is represented by Shri Madhukar Tiwari, Asstt Manager.
2. Shri Tiwari submits that the appellant appeared in an examination held in
1984 for the recruitment of apprentices for book binder trade but did not make
the grade. He has been corresponding with various authorities in this connection
during all these years. Vide RTI application dated 29.5.2008, the appellant had
requested for information on 11 paras in this connection. This was responded to
by CPIO vide letter dated 12.12.2008 informing the appellant that he could
collect 23 pages on payment of Rs 46/-. Shri Tiwari submits that on the
deposition of the above fee, 23 pages were supplied to the appellant. Shri Tiwari
also submits that additional information was also provided to the appellant vide
their letter dated 18.1.2010.
3. It, thus, appears to us that, broadly speaking, the requisite information has
already been provided to the appellant. Besides, the matter is 27 year old and has
become stale. In the premises, we are inclined to the close the matter.
