2. Both   the   parties   were   present   during   the   hearing   and   made   their 

submissions.

3. The Appellant had raised a number of queries in regard to an application 

dated 23 March 2009 he had filed in the CIC. The CPIO had provided precise 

and   specific   comments/clarifications/information   against   all   his   queries.   We 

carefully examined the list of queries raised by the Appellant and compared it 

with the reply of the CPIO. We found nothing wrong in the response of the 

CIC/WB/A/2010/000131­SM
CPIO.   In   fact,   most  of   the   queries  of   the   Appellant  would  not   warrant  any 

information in the first place.

4. From   the   submissions   of   the   Appellant,   it   appeared   that   his   main 

grievance was not against the response of the CPIO in this case but against the 

CPIO  of   the   MCD  who  had   not   provided   him  with   the   desired  information. 

However, reportedly, he had filed an appeal in the CIC earlier in that matter and 

it  had  been  disposed  of  by  the  IC  concerned  with  the  observation  that  the 

desired information had indeed been given. Since the Appellant is convinced 

that the desired information has not been provided, he is free to approach the 

CPIO in the MCD once again seeking that information once again.

5. The appeal is disposed off accordingly.

6. Copies of this order be given free of cost to the parties.
