FACTS
Both the above cited appeals are scheduled for hearing on 22nd June,
2011. The ISRO officers are present before the Commission in other case and they
request for the hearing of these matters today itself so that they don’t have to come all
the way from Bangalore again at a considerable Government expense. Their request is
accepted and these matters are heard today itself. The ISRO is represented by Shri S.
Satish, Director (CPIO), Ms. S. Padma Jyoti, AO and Shri Anant Ram, Dy. Secretary.

2. Vide RTI application dated 24th June, 2010, the appellant had sought
copies of allegedly fraudulent medical reimbursement claim of one N.F. Khoja. As he
was not provided this information, he has filed the present appeal. During the hearing,
Shri Subhash submits that the matter is 15 years old and involves medical
reimbursement of a few thousand rupees and the relevant file is not traceable due to
which requested information could not be provided to the appellant.
3. The CPIO is hereby advised to make fresh efforts to trace out the file
and if the same is traced out, to provide the requested information to the appellant. If
the file is not traced out, the appellant may informed accordingly.

4. Shri Subhash submits that the requisite information has already been
provided to the appellant and nothing is pending at his end. Interestingly, the appeal
memo filed before this Commission does not contain even a whisper about non supply
of information to the appellant.
5. In the premises, the matter is closed.
