ORDER
Background
1. The RTI Application dated 12.8.2010 was filed by the Applicant with the PIO, Prasar Bharti, Etah
seeking miscellaneous information against 15 points related to day today working of the office. The
PIO replied on 14.9.2010. Not satisfied with the information, the Applicant filed his first appeal on
17.9.2010. On not receiving any reply, the Applicant filed his second appeal before the Commission
seeking the information once again.
Decision
2. During the hearing the Commission noted that the PIO had not provided any information to the
Applicant and has also not given any reason for asking the Appellant to visit the office and collect
the information.
3. The Commission therefore directs the PIO to provide complete information to the Appellant by 20
March, 2011 an also to show cause as to why penalty should not be imposed upon him for not
furnishing the information was not provided within the mandatory period. The response to reach the
Commission by 25 March, 2011.
4. The complaint is accordingly disposed of.
