The Appellant in his RTI has sought following informations about the procedure, rules and
time limit of Railway Board for payment of TA bills. He has also sought information about
the action taken on his TA bill, misplacement of TA Bills and action taken against those
behind the misplacement of TA bills. He has enquired about non-payment of TA bill for
the month of February 2008 to till date.
The PIO’s Reply:
The PIO replied to the appellant that:

payment of TA Bills the inspection after being received from
Bill section. Payment is made then after.
2. Provide details of Rules of Railway Not Available.

4. Provide of reason for the providing of TA bill of February 20087 of related
such reply to me against above employee has not been received by bill
referred letter no. at S. No. (ii) by the section/Sonpur. This office has informed
GM(P). Inspite of submission of my him about non-receipt of his TA in bill
TA bills to DRM(P) which section of Sonpur vide letter dated
documentary evidence have submitted 02/07/2008 in reply of his letter dated
to DRM/SSE with my application 23.6.2008. His letter dated 8.8.8 has also
dated 08.08.08. been not received in Bill Section.
5. Provide the details of action taken TA bill has not been received in Bill against my this TA Bills. Section. 6. Provide the details of responsibility Action can be taken only after knowing against misplacement of my TA bills. that which officer gave the TA bill. 7. Provide the details of action taken As above. against the responsible person who misplaced my TA bills. 8. Provide the details for non payment of As said in question no 5. my TA bills for the month of February 2008 to till date.
The First Appellant Authority’s Order:
The First Appellant Authority ordered, “The Appellant can co-ordinate with the Senior
Divisional Personnel Officer for disposal of complaint and delay in TA bills. The Senior
Divisional Personnel Officer is directed to provide the desired information within 20 days
and to take action to resolve the complaint.”
