ORDER
Shri R.K. Jain, the Complainant had filed an RTI application dated
29.06.2010 seeking certain information from the PIO (Nodal Officer-RTI),
Delhi Police, who in turn transferred the application to various PIOs, Delhi
Police. Aggrieved with the reply of the PIO, Crime Branch, Delhi Police, he
has filed the present complaint before the Commission. Prima-facie it appears
that the Complainant has not utilized the scope of filing an appeal before the
First Appellate Authority. The matter is, therefore, forwarded to the First
Appellate Authority of the respondent to dispose of the case by considering it
as a first appeal within the stipulated period under the RTI Act, 2005. A copy
of the complaint is enclosed. The Complainant is at liberty to file a second
appeal afresh before the Commission if he is not satisfied with the decision of
the First Appellate Authority.
The matter is disposed of accordingly.
