Background
1. The Applicant filed an RTI application dt.10.3.08 with the CPIO, NR, Lucknow.
He requested for information against 4 points related to payment of income
tax. The CPIO replied on 3.4.08 furnishing point wise information. Not
satisfied with the reply, the Applicant filed an appeal dt.27.3.08 with the
Appellate Authority. The Appellate Authority replied on 25.4.08 providing
further clarification. Aggrieved with the reply, the Applicant filed a second
appeal dt.3.11.08 before the CIC.
2. The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner, scheduled the
hearing for June 5, 2009.
3. Mr. Govind Prasad, Sr. DMM cum PIO and Mr. B.C. Nagar, DPO represented
the Public Authority.
4. The Applicant was not present during the hearing.
Decision
5. The Respondent submitted that information has been provided to the
Appellant vide letters dated 3.4.08, 25.4.08, 21.5.08, 27.6.08, 25.8.08 and
3.10.08. Perusal of information provided revealed that complete information
including Form 16, calculation of gross salary etc. has been provided to the
Appellant vide abovementioned six letters.
6. The appeal is accordingly disposed of.
