                                      DECISION

      While deciding this appeal by a decision in Appeal No. 24140/ICPB/2008 dated
14.7.2008, a show-cause notice was also issued under section 20(1) of the Act. The
matter is now for consideration on the reply dated 1.7.2008 & 30.7.2008 received from
the CPIO/PIO to the show-cause notice. I have gone through the reply provided by the
CPIO.

2.     This reply can not be taken as an explanation to show-cause notice. The DGM
has indicated what kind of circular he had issued for handling of RTI application. He is
expected to endorse all copies in this connection to substantiate he has taken suitable
action. Without any of those letters it is not possible to accept this reply which he had
sent on 30.7.2008 as his reply to show-cause notice. He should send his reply to show-
cause notice within 10 days positively from the date of receipt of this reply.

       Let a copy of this decision be sent to the appellant and CPIO.
