Background
1. The Applicant filed an RTI application on 25.02.09 requesting for a copy of the
application for accreditation as Press Correspondence of PIB submitted on
27.05.2003. He also sought a list of members and addresses of CPAC members after
2002. The PIO replied on 24.3.09 providing required information. Not satisfied with
the reply, the Appellant filed a complaint before the Commission on 10.08.09.
2. The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner, scheduled the
hearing on 15th September, 2009.
3. Mr. R.C. Joshi, Director and Mr. Manoj Pandey, ADG represented Public Authority
was present during the hearing.
4. Mr. Rashan Along represented on behalf of the Applicant during the hearing.
Decision
5. On perusal of the documents, the Commission observed that complete information
has been provided to the Appellant and accordingly disposes off the appeal.
