The Commission on review of the second appeal directs the PIO to go through the second appeal carefully
and to provide point wise information to the Appellant. It was agreed that the information will be provided to
the Appellant by the PIO within 15 days from the date of hearing without waiting for the formal orders from the
Commission.

ORDER
Background
1. The Applicant filed an RTI application dt.30.5.10 with the PIO, DRM Office, North Eastern Railway,
Izzatnagar seeking various details about the salaries paid to him with respect to the penalty imposed
upon him in terms of reduction of his salary by one level, against 3 points. The PIO replied on
16.6.10 enclosing the point wise information dt.11.6.10 furnished by Sr.DPO. Not satisfied with the
reply, the Applicant filed an appeal dt.21.6.10 with the Appellate Authority. The Appellate Authority
replied on 9.7.10 providing further clarification. Being aggrieved with the reply, the Applicant filed a
second appeal dt.25.10.10 before CIC giving a list of deficiencies in the replies received by him.
Decision
2. The Commission on review of the second appeal directs the PIO to go through the second appeal
carefully and to provide point wise information to the Appellant. It was agreed that the information will
be provided to the Appellant by the PIO within 15 days from the date of hearing without waiting for
the formal orders from the Commission.
3. The appeal is disposed of with the above directions.
