Background
1. The Applicant filed an RTI application dt.7.9.07 with the CPIO, NER,
Gorakhpur. He requested for information regarding selection for Assistant
Station Master Exam conducted by RRB, Muzaffarpur against 21 points. The
CPIO replied on 18.9.07 providing some information. Not satisfied with the
reply, the Applicant filed an appeal dt.13.11.07 with the Appellate Authority.
On not receiving any reply, he filed a second appeal dt.17.6.08 before the
CIC.
2. The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner, scheduled the
hearing for June 3, 2009.
3. Mr. Alok Kumar, CPIO represented the Public Authority.
4. The Applicant was not present during the hearing.
Decision
5. The Respondent submitted that the RTI application was transferred to ECR,
Hazipur on 11.10.07. The ECR replied to the Appellant on 8.1.08 providing
point-wise information. The Commission then reviewed the information
provided and noted that all available information has been furnished to the
Appellant.
6. The appeal is accordingly disposed of.
