Background
1. The Applicant filed an RTI application dt.25.2.08 with the CPIO, ECR,
Danapur. He requested for information against 4 points regarding payment of
TA and Overtime. The CPIO replied on 10.3.08. Not satisfied with the reply,
the Applicant filed an appeal dt.19.4.08 with the Appellate Authority. On not
receiving any reply, he filed a second appeal dt.14.6.08 before the CIC.
2. The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner, scheduled the
hearing for May 22, 2009.
3. Mr. B.K. Singh, Sr. DPO, DNR cum CPIO, Mr. R. Raman, ADRM cum Appellate
Authority and Mr. S.G. Barla, OS, Danapur represented the Public Authority.
4. The Applicant was present during the hearing.
Decision
5. Although all relevant information has been provided to the Appellant, it was
agreed during the hearing that the CPIO would allow the Appellant to inspect
all his vouchers in connection with OT/TA allowance so that he can see for
himself any comments written on the vouchers giving reasons why the
vouchers have been rejected. All information to be provided to the Appellant
by 20th June, 2009.
6. The appeal is disposed of.
