Background
1. The Applicant filed an RTI application dt.13.11.08 with the CPIO, DoP, Surat.
He requested for information against 21 points with regard to
maintenance/proper use of Letter Boxes . The CPIO replied on 10.12.08
furnishing point wise information. Not satisfied with the reply, the Applicant
filed an appeal dt.15.12.08 with the Appellate Authority. On not receiving any
reply, he filed a second appeal dt.5.3.09 before the CIC.
2. The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner, scheduled the
hearing for May 13, 2009.
3. Mr. V.S. Patel, SSPOs, Surat cum CPIO and Mr. M.B. Rathod, ASPOs C&I,
R.O., Vadodara represented the Public Authority.
4. The Applicant was present during the hearing.
Decision
5. Perusal of the information provided reveals that all available information has
been provided against RTI request and accordingly the appeal is disposed off.
