ORDER
Shri Vinod Kumar, the appellant has filed this appeal dated 18.11.2010 before the
Commission against Delhi Police, Outer District, Delhi for providing incorrect and
incomplete information to his RTI-request dated 2.8.2010, which came up for hearing on
15.3.2011. The appellant was present in person, whereas the respondents were
represented by Shri Manoj Sharma, Inspector and Shri Madan Lal, SI, Outer Dist.
2. The appellant filed RTI-request dated 2.8.2010, seeking information on six RTI-
queries pertaining to copies of DD register, action report on complaint dated 7.6.2010,
certified copy of his RTI-request etc. The PIO vide letter No. 5092/I.D. No. 1666/RTI
Cell/Outer District dated 31.8.2010 has replied to the appellant.
3. Aggrieved by the decision of PIO, the appellant filed first-appeal 8.9.2010 before
AA. The AA vide order No. 819/Appeal/RTI/Outer District dated 27.9.2010 has remitted the
matter to PIO with the direction to examine appellant’s first-appeal and provide the
information to the appellant within 10 days.
4. The respondents submitted that the PIO has complied with the direction of AA and
has replied to the appellant vide letter No. 5855/RTI Cell/Outer District dated 1.10.2010.

5. After hearing the parties and on perusal of the relevant documents on file, the
Commission observed that the appellant has contested appeal on Point Nos. 2, 3 and 6 of
his RTI-request in his second, on which the respondents have already provided
information to the appellant. I uphold the decision of respondents.
The appeal has no merit and is rejected.
