ORDER
Shri Yogesh C Sharma, Appellant, filed an application dated 4.1.2010 under
the provisions of the RTI Act, seeking information regarding Association/Unions of
employees recognised by NACIL Management, criteria for recognition of
Associations and matters connected therewith. The CPIO/ED (Legal), Air India,
vide letter dated 26.4.2010 provided pointwise information to the Appellant. Not
satisfied with the reply, the Appellant has filed the present appeal before the
Commission.
During the hearing the Respondent submits that requisite information has
been provided to the Appellant. The Appellant however, submits that complete
requisite information has not been provided to him.
After hearing the parties, the Commission is of the view that while
information has been provided regarding erstwhile Indian Airlines and Air India,
information is required to be provided to the Appellant regafding policy/criteria for
the present merged entity of Indian Airlines and Air India. The requisite
information is to be provided within 15 days of receipt of Commission’s order.
With these directions the matter is disposed of on the part of the
Commission.
