Information Sought:
1. Information as to whether the salaries of late Sh Prem Babu TGT (Hindi) for the months of
March 2003 and April 2003 were released as separate entries or as a single consolidated sum.
2. Whether the same was released by cash or cheque, or were directly transferred into the
account.
3. If the salaries were paid in cash, then proof of the same.
4. If they were transferred directly to the account, then proof of the same such as date, month,
voucher number etc.
5. If the salaries were released by cheque, then details of the same such as date, month, cheque
no., name and designation of the authorized signatory etc.
Reply of the PIO (after First Appeal was filed):
The salaries were released separately for the months of March and April 2003. However the
mode of payment could not be clarified.
First Appeal:
No information provided by the PIO.
Order of the FAA:
The FAA over the course of two hearings, observed that the PIO had not provided the proper
information and directed him to do so by 30/05/2009. The FAA also ordered the PIO to fix date
and time for inspection within the next 30 days.
Ground of the Second Appeal:
That the Appellant has still not been supplied with the proper information.
