                                                         ORDER

Background

1. The Applicant filed her RTI­application with the PIO, Doordarshan Kendra, New Delhi  on 

14.11.2010 seeking information against (X) items on the subject ” Proposal  “Khwasteen   Qualamkaar”  

under Acquisition Category for DD Urdu Channel File No.  2/239/2008/­UC”.  The   PIO,   on   10.01.2011, 

gave point­wise information to the  Applicant. The Applicant, however, being dissatisfied with the information 

furnished to  her in respect of item nos. 2,5 & 10 of her RTI­application, filed her 1 st­appeal with the  

Appellate Authority on  17.01.2011   which   the   AA   had   apparently   not   decided.   The  

Appellant, therefore, filed the  present petition in the  Commission on 17.02.2011.

Decision 

2. The Appellant’s representative, during the hearing, confined the requirement of the  present 

appeal to the information listed at item nos. 2 & 10 of Appellant’s RTI­ application,    which  were   discussed 

as given below:

3. The Appellant’s representative stated that the Appellant wanted to know as to whether  any 

document was pending to submit by the producer on the date of approval of  the above proposal. 

4. It   is   noted   that   the   Respondents   have   provided   to   the   Appellant   only   the   date   of   the  

approval. It is, therefore, directed that the PIO should furnish the above identified   information to  the 

Appellant by  30.06.2011

Item No. 10:

5. The Appellant wanted to obtain the documentary proof of contradictory association of partnership of 

the company ” Triple EFF Productions Pvt. Ltd.” The  Respondents showed the file notings in this 

connection to the Appellant  which answered this query. 

6. It is accordingly directed that the PIO should supply the copies of the above shown  file 

noting to the Appellant by  30.06.2011.

7. Appeal is disposed of with the above directions.
