1. The appellant is aggrieved by the dismissal of writ petition
against selection of private respondent as Headmistress of the school.
The appellant also participated but was not selected.
2. Main point raised was that the Managing Committee was
not duly approved by the Director of Education and the whole process
was illegal.
3. Learned Single Judge held that there was dispute between
two managing bodies which was subject-matter pending in
C.W.P.No.11244 of 2000 and the appointment was made after
following due procedure. Some arrangement had to be made pending
decision of the dispute between the two rival claimants. There was no
ground to set aside the appointment.

4. We have heard learned counsel for the appellant who
reiterated the arguments raised before the learned Single Judge.
5. Admittedly, the appellant had participated in the selection
process and was not selected. The private respondent has already been
working for more than nine years.
6. We do not find any ground to interfere with the view taken
by learned Single Judge.
7. The appeal is dismissed.
