                                     J U D G M E N T

Challenging Ext. P3 assessment order in respect of the period

2008-09 (March, 2009), Ext.P5 appeal along with Ext. P6 petition for

stay have been preferred which are pending consideration before the

second respondent . The petitioner is aggrieved of the coercive steps

taken in the meanwhile without any regard to the pendency of the

above proceedings, which in turn is under challenge in this Writ

Petition .

2. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances, the second

respondent is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.

P6 petition for stay, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as

possible at any rate within one month from the date of receipt of a

copy of the judgment. Till such orders are passed on Ext. P6 petition

for stay, all further coercive proceedings shall be kept in abeyance.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
