The petitioner has preferred Ext.P2 appeal along with Ext.P2(a) petition

for stay, challenging Ext.P1 assessment order passed by the first respondent.

The grievance of the petitioner is that, it is without any regard to the pendency

of the said proceedings before the Appellate Authority/2nd respondent, that

the respondents are proceeding with further coercive steps borne by Ext.P3,

which is sought to be intercepted in the Writ Petition.

2. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.

3. Taking note of the facts and figures, the 2nd respondent is

directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P2 (a) petition for

stay, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within

one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. It is made

clear that till such appropriate orders are passed on Ext.P2(a) petition for

stay, all coercive steps pursuant to Ext.P3 shall be kept in abeyance.

The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
