Background
1. The RTI request was filed on 16.5.07. The Appellant wanted the
attested photocopies of the official notings approving transfer/posting
of Shri Debashish Chowdhury, Driver Cum Mechanic, Gr.II at IBG vide
Office Order No.BSII253/42/05-Admn(V) dt.5.8.05. The CPIO replied
on 7.1.08 enclosing some documents. Not satisfied with the
information provided, the Appellant filed her first appeal on 16.1.08.
The Appellate Authority replied on 18.1.08 enclosing another copy of
duly attested papers. The Appellant filed her second appeal before the
CIC on 26.4.08.

scheduled the hearing for November 20, 2008.

Decision
5. The Respondents submitted that they had provided all the information
sought by the Appellant. They exhibited all the documents they gave
to the Appellant.
6. The Commission noted after inspecting the file that the transfer noting
related to the Shri Debashish Chowdhary consisted of a noting(dated
5.8.05) by the Director, Botanical Survey of India on the letter dated
7.7.05 addressed to him by Jt. Director, BSI . This letter with the
noting has already been shared with the Appellant along with the
transfer order. The Respondents had also shared the draft Order with
the Appellant. The Respondents stated that there is no other noting
available with them and therefore are unable to provide any additional
information in response to the appeals by the Appellant.
7. After being convinced that there is no further information available
with the Public Authority on the subject of transfer of Shri Chowdhary,
the Commission directs the CPIO to provide an affidavit to the
Appellant stating that no further papers/notings are on record with
regard to the transfer/posting of Shri Debashish Chowdhury, Driver-
Cum-Mechanic, within 15 days of receipt of this Order.
8. The appeal is disposed off.
