Facts
:
1. Smt Rita Kapoor submitted RTI application dated
24 February 2010 before the CPIO, Ministry of Urban
Development, New Delhi to seek information pertaining
to action taken on her letter dated 9 November 2009
and status and outcome of its disposal.
2. Vide CPIO order dated the 25 February 2010,
appellant was informed that appellant’s letter of 9
November 2009 had been forwarded to the
Commissioner , Housing, DDA who had been asked to
look into the representation and intimate the
appellant of the action taken thereon.
3. Appellant preferred appeal dated 17 March 2010
before the first appellate authority.
4. Matter was decided vide FAA order dated 16 April
2010 vide which appellant was once again informed
that she should obtain information from the CPIO, DDA
and that public authority is more closely connected
with the subject of the RTI matter and also since the
information was held by them.
5. Being aggrieved and not being satisfied with the
above order, appellant preferred second appeal before
the Commission.
6. Matter was heard today. Both parties were
present as above in person and made submissions.

7. Commission is satisfied with the orders of the
CPIO and the first appellate authority who have
provided full and complete information to the
appellant. Commission places on record that the CPIO,
DDA has stated that they will provide information as
held by them to the appellant even though she has not
submitted a formal application to them. Commission
directs that information will be provided to the
appellant within two weeks of receipt of the order.
