                                                       ORDER

  Ms. Uma Arpita, the Appellant, filed an RTI application dated 12.05.2010, sought 
information regarding appointment of Inspectors in the Customs and Excise Department 
and   their   promotions   and   matters   connected   therewith.     The   PIO   vide   letter   dated 
17.06.2010 provided point­wise reply to the Appellant.  Not satisfied with the reply, the 
Appellant filed an  appeal before  the First Appellate  Authority  (FAA).    The  FA vide 
decision dated 30.08.2010 upheld the reply of the PIO. Hence, the present appeal before 
the Commission.

During   the   hearing   Ms.   Vinta   Bansal   on   behalf   of   the   Appellant   submits   that 
complete   requisite   information   to   her   satisfaction   has   not   been   furnished.   The 
Respondent on the other hand submits complete information as per record has already 
been furnished to the Appellant.

After hearing the Respondent and on perusal of the relevant documents on file, the 
Commission is of the view that requisite information available on record and permissible 
under the RTI Act, has been furnished to the Appellant.  No interference is called for on 
the part of the Commission. The reply of the PIO is upheld.

The matter is disposed of on the part of the Commission.
