Cont.Case (C).No.1731 of 2007-S
----------------------------------------------------
Dated, this the 20th day of February, 2008
JUDGMENT
H.L.Dattu,C.J.
Alleging that the respondent has not complied with the orders and
directions issued by this Court in W.P.(C).No.8612 of 2005 dated 3.8.2005, the
petitioner in the writ petition is before us in this contempt petition.
2. The respondent has entered appearance through his learned counsel.
3. Sri.E.K.Nandakumar, learned counsel appearing for the respondent,
on instructions would submit that the respondent has already sent a cheque in
compliance with the directions issued by this Court.
4. We do not doubt the correctness of the statement made by the
learned counsel for the respondent.
5. Since there is substantial compliance with the orders and directions
issued by this Court, no further proceedings need be continued. Accordingly, the
contempt proceedings are dropped.
6. Liberty is reserved to the petitioner/complainant to approach this Court,
if need arises in future.
Ordered accordingly.
