Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record.
It is claimed that possession of the land belonging to the petitioner situated in
Village Sirwan post Bithuwa Tehsil Lalganj, District Azamgarh was taken
over for laying of road by the Public Works Department but neither
compensation has been paid nor alternative land has been allotted to him
according to the scheme.
If that be so, the petitioner may approach the Collector, Azamgarh through a
representation supported by the documentary evidence and he shall take a
reasoned decision thereon within a period of two months from the date a
certified copy of this order is filed before the concerned authority.
It is clarified that the Court has not examined the merits of the claim of the
petitioner.
Subject to the aforesaid , the writ petition is finally disposed off.
