Patna High Court – Orders
Muneshwar Yadav vs State Of Bihar on 8 March, 2011
IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT PATNA
Cr.Misc. No.37968 of 2010
NUNESHWAR YADAV
Versus
STATE OF BIHAR
-----
03. 08.03.2011 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the state.
Some incident took place is the admitted fact. According
to the prosecution, ransom was demanded and on its non-fulfillment,
glass of J.C.B. machine was broken and informant was parted with
cash and his mobile is supported by witnesses. Defence is about
petitioner being ‘Sarpanch’ of the village and only compensation
was demanded by villagers whose crops were damaged. On place of
occurrence, pieces of glass are recovered. Thus, I find it not a fit
case for anticipatory bail.
Accordingly, prayer of petitioner for anticipatory bail
stands rejected.
