			O R D E R	

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner for transfer of the case on the file of Inspector of Police, B-3, Flower Bazaar Police Station, Chennai, in FIR Crime No.12/2007 to some other investigating agency.

2. The petitioner has stated that the respondent registered a case in Crime No.12 of 2007 dated 14.02.2007 on an alleged offence under Section 174 Cr.P.C. The First Information Report reveals that one Govindaraju, S/o. Selvam, Annai Sathya Nagar, Chennai 9 lodged a complaint with the respondent police stating that one man aged about 31 years was dead on the platform. On searching the dead person, it was found that his name was Chinna Karuppasamy, S/o. Late Kuppusamy Kounder, Nottakara Thottam, Palladam Taluk, Ayyampalayam. The respondent police, after registering the First Information Report has not taken any further action on the said complaint, as alleged by the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has filed this petition to transfer the case to some other agency.

3. Considering the facts of the case, this Court directs the respondent police to speed up the enquiry and file a final report to the concerned court within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this Order. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
