This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to dispose of petitioner’s representations dated 22.07.2005 and 10.01.2006 regarding correction of his date of birth in the service records as 27.10.1949 instead of 01.06.1948 within a time frame.
2.The grievance of the petitioner has been addressed by way of representations dated 22.07.2005 and 10.01.2006. If the same has not been disposed of so far, the petitioner is entitled to make further representation to the respondent Department. Such representation shall be considered and disposed of by the respondent Department within a period of three months from the date of receipt of such representation. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
