07. 19.08.2011 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners
and learned counsel for the State. Learned counsel
appearing on behalf of informant Mr. Prasoon
Sinha, Advocate vehemently opposes the prayer of
bail.
Assault and ill-treatment is alleged blaming
informant’s wife ‘Dian’. Submission of learned
counsel for the petitioners is that differences were
otherwise in both the families and only to make the
case serious offence under section 4/5 of Prevention
of Witch Practices Act has been added.
Having regard to the facts and
circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or
surrender within a period of one month from the
date of receipt/production of a copy of this order,
the above named petitioners shall be released on

bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten
thousand) each with two sureties of the like
amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief
Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi in connection with
Parihar P. S. Case No.120 of 2010 (G.R. No.2283
of 2010), subject to the condition as laid down
under section 438(2) of the Cr. P. C.
