Title: Need to include the text on freedom struggle movement of India in the syllabus from school to college level.
DR. RATNA DE (HOOGHLY): It is a matter of great concern that even after 62 years of our Independence, the memory of golden history of our freedom struggle has started vanishing from the hearts and minds of our young generation who are losing interest in the great sacrifice made by our national leaders and freedom fighters due to heavy syllabus in schools & colleges and money-oriented careers. In order to imbibe moral values in our youth, I would request the Hon’ble Minister to take effective steps to include the freedom struggle movement of India in the school and college syllabus and make it mandatory from school to college level.
