In the Malappuram Revenue District Kalolsavam, petitioner

participated in Ottanthullal. She was given second prize with A

Grade. Appeal filed was rejected by Ext.P1 order. It is challenging

this order, the writ petition is filed.

2. A reading of Ext.P1 appeal order shows that, according

to the petitioner, the cement floor of the stage was slippery. As

far as this complaint of the petitioner is concerned, it should first

be stated that all the participants had performed on the same

floor, and if so, no prejudice special to the petitioner could have

been caused. It is also stated that the mike was defective. As far

as this complaint is concerned, it is seen that the report of the

Stage Manager contradicts the claim of the petitioner. That apart,

in the analysis report, it is stated that the song played by the

petitioner was not audible and that the performance of the

petitioner was inferior, and that, it was therefore that the

petitioner was awarded second prize. Nothing has been placed on

record to prove the aforesaid statements made in Ext.P1 to be

factually erroneous.

I am not persuaded to interfere. Writ petition is dismissed.
