		 Petition  filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of writ of Habeas corpus calling for the records of the first respondent in Memo No.113/BDFGIS/2006 dated 17.04.2006, setting aside the order of detention passed therein and directing the  the respondents to produce the detenu by name Dharmendran @ Dharmendra, who is the son of the petitioner herein,  now confined at Central Prison, Chennai, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has brought to our notice that the impugned detention order has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.1116 Prohibition & Excise (X) Department dated 31.05.2006 and he also produced copy of the same. Accordingly, as on date nothing survives for adjudication in this petition, hence the same is dismissed as infructuous.
