J U D G M E N T
Petitioners, who have completed their Engineering
Degree Course from Kannur Govt. Engineering College
and SNGCET, Payyannur, affiliated to the Kannur
University, had written the 6th Semester Examination held
in July 2008. Apparently, dissatisfied by the marks
obtained in the said Examination, they had applied for
revaluation. They are aggrieved by the results of the
revaluation have not been published so far.
2. I heard learned standing counsel for the
University also. There is no justification for the delay in
the publication of results of revaluation in respect of the
Examination held in July 2008.
3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of
directing the 1st respondent to publish the results of the
revaluation sought for by the petitioners in relation to

the 6th Semester Examination held in July 2008, as early as
possible, at any rate, within a period of eight weeks from
the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment provided the
applications for revaluation are in order and otherwise
correct.
