As per the averments made in this petition, vide judgment

dated 04.03.2009 passed in CWP No.15103 and 15105 of 2008, the

respondent Municipal Council was directed to settle the accounts of the

petitioner for the work executed by him and to release the necessary

payments, thereafter.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, in spite

of the aforesaid directions issued by this Court to release the undisputed

amount, no relief has been granted to the petitioner.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Without going into the merits of the arguments raised by the

learned counsel for the petitioner,at this stage, and keeping in view the

assurance given by the State of Punjab in COCP No.1224 of 2009 titled as

“Dalip Kumar versus D.K.Goyal, Executive Officer” decided on 20th July,

2009, I deem it appropriate to direct respondent Nos.2 and 3 to settle the

accounts of the petitioner within one month from today and to release the
COCP No.1329 of 2009(O & M) 2

undisputed amount within one month, thereafter.

Dasti on payment of usual charges.
