                              ORDER

Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail on the allegation that the

Ambalathara police are at his heels in connection with some crime

registered for an offence punishable under Section 420 IPC.

2. The learned Public Prosecutor on instructions

submitted that even though the case has been registered as

Crime No.384/2010 under Section 420 IPC, the police on being

convinced that it is essentially a civil dispute are inclined to refer

the case by filing a report before the Magistrate. If so, the

apprehension of arrest and harassment entertained by the

petitioner is unfounded. Recording the submission made by the

Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed.
