                              J U D G M E N T

The grievance of the petitioner is that, without any

regard to the pendency of Exhibit P7 and P8 appeal,

preferred before the 1st respondent, challenging the

assessment orders as well as the order imposing penalty

and despite Exhibit P9 and P10 petitions preferred for

interim stay, the 3rd respondent is proceeding with

coercive steps as borne by Exhibit P11, which is sought to

be intercepted in the Writ Petition.

2. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances, the 1st

respondent is directed to consider and pass appropriate

orders on Exhibit P9 and P10 petitions for stay as

expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within one month,

from the date of receipt of a copy of this Judgment. Till

such appropriate orders are passed in Exhibit P9 and P10

petitions for stay, all further coercive steps pursuant to

Exhibit P11 shall be kept in abeyance.

The Writ petition is deposed of, as above.
