J U D G M E N T
The grievance is regarding the non-compliance with
the judgment. Learned Government Pleader has made available a
copy of the order dated 15.12.2008, wherein it is stated as
follows:-
“As per the letter read as 2nd paper above, the
District Collector, Ernakulam has furnished proposal for creation
of a post of Part Time Sweeper in Village Officer, Asamannoor
and for regularisation of the existing Casual Sweeper, based on
the conditions stipulated in the Government Order read above.
The Assistant Engineer, PWD Buildings Section has
certified that the sweeping area of village office, Asamannoor is
112.85 M2. It is reported that Smt.P.Ponnamma has been
working as Casual Sweeper in the above office since 1992.
Government have examined the case in detail and
are pleased to accord sanction for creating a post of Part Time
Sweeper in Village Office, Asamannoor on Rs.2300+DA per
month and to regularize the services of Smt.P.Ponnamma with
effect from 18.06.01.”
In case the consequential benefits have not been disbursed to the
petitioner, the same shall be disbursed within two months from
today and if not, the amount will carry interest at the rate of 10%
from the date of eligibility and the officers responsible for the
delay shall be personally liable for the same.
In view of the apology tendered by the learned
Con.Case NO.1404/08 2
Government Pleader for the delay, this Contempt of Court Case is
closed.
