The petitioner has applied for regular bail in FIR No.
515 dated 27.10.2008, under Sections 363, 366, 120 B, IPC registered at
Police Station Sadar, Patiala, District Patiala.
The law was set into motion by Charan Singh son of
Sadhu Singh, resident of Village Mahoodpur Jattan, P. S. Sadar, Patiala
who has stated that Pargat Singh, petitioner has taken his daughter Anju
Bala approximately 17 years and 8 months. The case of the petitioner is
that Anju Bala is the legally wedded wife of him and to support this
petition, he has placed the affidavit of Anju Bala on the file. He has also
placed reliance upon CRM No. M- 31988 of 2008 in which Anju Bala and
petitioner moved an application for protection of life and liberty which has
been accepted by this Court on 4.12.2008. Learned State counsel on
instructions from SI Sukhdev Singh stated that the petitioner is in custody
since 31.10.2008. Anju Bala is present in the Court and she has also
supported the factum of marriage.
So in these circumstances, bail to the satisfaction of
Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patiala.
