2 09.02.2011 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as

learned counsel for the state.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with

Ramgarhwa P.S. Case No. 68 of 2010 registered under

sections-498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code as also section-3/4

of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Admittedly, the petitioner is elder brother of informant’s

husband. Although there is some sort of allegation of torturing

as well as demand of dowry against the petitioner but

admittedly, the husband of the petitioner has already been

granted privilege of bail by this court. Accordingly, the petitioner,

namely, Parwej Alam is directed to be released on bail on

furnishing bail bond of Rs 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two

sureties of the like amount each in connection with Ramgarhwa

P.S. Case No. 68 of 2010 to the satisfaction of Sub Divisional

Judicial Magistrate, Raxaul, East Champaran, Motihari.
