Mr. Pandey, learned counsel appears for the

Respondent-Union of India.

Petitioner approached this Court seeking a direction

upon the respondents, particularly respondent no.2 (Director

General of Police, CRPF) for early disposal of his appeal which

is said to be pending before him since 7.9.2007.

Mr. Pandey states that the application seems to have

become infructuous and, as such, nobody has appeared to press

this application.

This Court accepting the aforesaid submission of the

respondents holds that the application has become infructuous.

It is dismissed as infructuous.
