CRM-M No. 6155 of 2011(O&M) ****
S.Himmat Singh and another vs. Ved Parkash and another
Present: Mr.R.S.Rai, Sr. Advocate with
Mr.Karan Pathak, Advocate
for the petitioners.
Mr.P.S. Paul, DAG, Punjab.
****
Learned counsel has argued that a dispute between tenant and
landlord has been converted into a complaint under Sections 379, 452, 427,
506 and 120-B IPC and that Sections 3(x) of the Scheduled Castes and
Scheduled Tribes(Prevention of Atrocities) Act has been invoked only so as
to pressurise the petitioner. None has appeared even today on behalf of the
complainant to oppose this petition.
In the circumstances I deem it appropriate to direct the trial
Court to grant bail to the petitioner to his satisfaction, in the event of his
appearance. Ordered accordingly.
Petition stands disposed of.
